Age Well and NorthCountry hit it out of the park with Lake Monsters senior nights

COLCHESTER, VT — Get ready for a summer filled with baseball, community spirit, and celebration! Age Well, in partnership with NorthCountry Federal Credit Union and the Vermont Lake Monsters, is thrilled to bring back Senior Nights at Centennial Field on select Tuesday evenings: June 10, June 17, July 1, and July 29.

These special game nights celebrate older Vermonters with reserved tickets for just $6 (half price) for fans age 60 and over, along with a voucher for a free soft drink. Made possible through the generous support of NorthCountry, these events reflect a shared mission to promote wellness, social connection, and active aging.

“Senior Nights offer a meaningful opportunity to recognize the contributions of older adults while strengthening community bonds in a fun, welcoming setting,” said Morgan Salter, Community Relations Manager at NorthCountry Federal Credit Union. “We’re proud to partner with Age Well and the Lake Monsters and hope to add to the excitement this season!”

Baseball is America’s favorite pastime, and nothing beats a night at the ballpark. What everyone really loves is the chance to gather with friends and community to share in the fun and spirit of the game. “Nothing brings people together like baseball—especially when it’s with an incredible community of older Vermonters,” said C.J. Knudsen, Senior Vice President of the Vermont Lake Monsters. “These nights are a grand slam for fun, connection, and celebrating the heart of our community!”

Senior Nights align with Age Well’s broader mission to support older Vermonters in living healthy, connected lives. “We are grateful to NorthCountry Federal Credit Union and the Lake Monsters for their generous partnership,” said Tracey Shamberger, Director of Business Development & Communications at Age Well. “Their investment goes beyond financial support—it reflects a shared commitment to improving the lives of older Vermonters. Together, we are creating lasting change and building a stronger, more compassionate community.”
