New Resource Available for Northern Vermont Area Seniors

Northern Vermont area seniors now have a new resource to assist them in the aging process. Alicia Fleming, CSA, recently completed a comprehensive course through the Society of Certified Senior Advisors ® (SCSA) and has earned the certification of Certified Senior Advisor (CSA)®. The CSA designation in conjunction with 8 years of experience in Senior Care Services means that seniors and their families now have a resource they can rely on to meet their needs.

“I embarked on the Certified Senior Advisor course with eagerness, and the journey has been transformative. The depth of knowledge and skills acquired not only equips me to navigate the complexities of senior-related issues but also instills a profound sense of purpose. This certification holds immense value as it goes beyond a mere credential; it represents a commitment to understanding and addressing the unique challenges faced by older adults. It’s not just a course; it’s a pathway to making a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults, and I believe in its power to enhance both professional expertise and compassionate care. There is an explosive growth in the senior population. People are living longer, which means the need for skilled professionals able to serve the senior population is also growing. This demographic shift requires an educated response in how professionals work with seniors and a greater ability to address the challenges and opportunities seniors face. “Embracing this new paradigm requires a commitment to tailored solutions that blend expertise with empathy. Meeting the evolving needs of seniors isn’t just about keeping pace; it’s about leading with a vision that recognizes the richness of their experiences and the value they bring to our communities. In serving Vermont’s growing senior population, we have the chance to create a future where aging is not just a challenge but a chapter of fulfillment, dignity, and shared connection,” stated Fleming.

As a Certified Senior Advisor, Alicia Fleming has received the education and training to better serve senior clients. Fleming is required to participate in continuing education to ensure she is well educated on the changes and updates that affect Senior Services industry.
